Session 7: Interagency Collaboration for Improved Implementation Supports
Recording
Slide presentation
Kristen Perez-Rickels, Elizabeth Suddath
Oklahoma SPDG

The Oklahoma State Department of Education has been fortunate enough to receive funding from three different grant sources to implement multi-tiered systems of support in schools throughout the state. Each grant, however, was written to support different areas of school improvement and MTSS implementation. In this session, OSDE representatives will discuss how multiple state-level initiatives have already partnered to improve cohesive technical assistance and state guidance, and plans for future collaboration and service delivery for LEAs.

Session 8: Virtual Check-in, Check-out
Slide presentation
Kimberli Breen
Kansas SWIFT Center

Check-In, Check-Out (CICO) is one of the most widely known Tier 2 evidence-based interventions. However, this simple but effective intervention is often underutilized, being narrowly applied for a sub-set of students needing Tier 2. This session will focus on the latest CICO literature and research, including how to support many more students. What you learn can be applied in virtual, hybrid and in-person learning environments.
